Mind of Iraj’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use this website. Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are not saved on Akismet’s servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case Akismet stores them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives. Akismet collects information about visitors who comment on Sites that use their Akismet anti-spam service, including The Mind of Iraj. The information Akismet collects typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
All comments submitted to Mind of Iraj are strictly moderated before being publicly posted (approved). Any personally identifiable information contained therein will be redacted or deleted before publishing, unless the commenter explicitly requests otherwise in writing (as part of the comment). Comments containing illegal, objectionable, violent, threatening, pornographic or malicious content such as doxxing, defamation or bullying will NOT be posted on Mind of Iraj. Depending on the severity of the offense, such comments MAY be submitted to law enforcement or government agencies as appropriate. Otherwise they will be kept on file for six months and then deleted.

Blog posts on The Mind of Iraj may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

The Mind of Iraj uses MonsterInsights, the most popular Google Analytics plugin for WordPress. MonsterInsights allows us to track how visitors find and use this website from inside our WordPress dashboard.
The MonsterInsights Google Analytics application uses the Google Analytics Reporting API to gather analytics about this website.
MonsterInsights discloses client Google Analytics information with prior user consent only to this site’s owner (Iraj, P.I. Gardner) and those of MonsterInsights employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on MonsterInsights behalf or to provide the services to The Mind of Iraj (ii) and to provide necessary technical support for their services.
